If you're looking for real Japanese cuisine, this is the place! Service is awesome, Food is excellent and the price is right. I highly recommend, and I don't recommend this high or this often. Fish is awesome

Best and most consistent Japanese food restaurant I have ever been too.

Hadn't been to Katsu for a long while. Very good. Plan to return. Recommended.

Not impressed. Price is ok, service was friendly. Waited very long for my food, my partner was already done eating before mine showed up. Edamame was overcooked, avocado had a bitter taste to it. The blue fin didn't taste like Blue fin. Probably won't return.

Castro Valley has the highest concentration of restaurants with very low food quality compensated with friendly service. I’d compare the food here to mall food. Made with the very basic ingredients and the least care. No creativity and flavors what so ever. I really don’t understand why people open restaurants just to make subpar food.
